Betty Miller, 94, of Bloomfield, passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2018, in Farmington. She was born on a farm outside Buchanan, North Dakota, on April 30, 1923.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Gwen Marple, husband Kenneth Miller, and cat companion of 26 years, Bumpy. She is survived by her sister, Jeanne (Steven) of Los Angeles, daughter, Vicky (Don) of Pagosa Springs, granddaughter Jessica (David) of Bloomfield, and two great grandsons, Ryan and Hayden- who were her absolute pride and joy.
Her wicked sense of humor will be greatly missed. She loved her coffee but only half a cup. And you'd better watch for that left hook!
She had the best neighbors in Bloomfield- thank you to all the Archibeque's. Her hairdresser, Jessica, who hated her hair but managed to make her look beautiful every time. Her pharmacist at Sam's, Mary- she loved to chit chat with you. The crew at the Village Inn- Ryann, Heather, Sunny and Anita- those were some of her favorite meals, being somewhere that everyone knew her name. During her time at Life Care Center of Farmington these past few months, she made many more friends- Joyce Rein (who became her bestie), Nadine and LaVergne who sat together at every meal (dubbed the Mean Girls), her PT handler Geoff, and all of the nurses, CNA's and orderly's. They all took such good care of her. The family is greatly appreciative of them for her care.

At Betty's request, no services will be held and a cremation will take place. She will join Ken and Bumpy in Juanita, CO.
