Gary Alan Churchill

Gary Alan Churchill, 67, left this earthly life Friday January 4, 2019. He was born May 6, 1951 to Melvin and Mary June Churchill in Upland, CA.

He moved his family to Farmington, NM to work at Raytheon Missile Systems on NAPI in 1989 and stayed there until he retired. He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, holding several positions and working in scouting programs.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, infant daughter Valerie, infant grandchildren Larissa and Justin.

He is survived by his wife, Kerry, three sons Greg (Carmen), Steven (Erin) and Jeff (Marylee); three daughters Kari Ann Williams (Keven), Kathrine Kempton (Nathan), Emily Stradling (Joseph); 18 living grandchildren; brother Jeddie; sisters Sheila and Jean; brother-in-law Dennis Lyman; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be held on Sat. Jan 12 from 11:00 a.m.-11:30 a.m. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 400 W. Apache St., Farmington NM. Private burial will be later that day.
