Helen Malen Seitzinger Adair
Helen Adair passed away on August 25, 2018. She was 98 years old. Born March 9, 1920 in Bloomfield, New Mexico to James Tate Seitzinger Sr. and Bonita Onette Sheetz. She spent most of her life in Bloomfield with the exception of a few years in California and Utah.
Helen married Clarence Adair on June 2, 1936. To this union five children were born. One son, Clarence James Jimmy Adair and four daughters. Helen Martin, Carolyn Smith, Roselynn Dugger and Robin Chavez. Helen was an exceptional Homemaker. She loved to cook and bake. She kept a very clean home and you always felt welcome there. When her children were teenagers, there were always extra friends to spend the night or to eat supper.
Helen was greatly loved by her children, grandchildren and her great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Bonita, husband, Clarence, son Jimmy Adair, and daughter Roselynn Dugger. One Son-in-law Robert Martin, one sister Louise Sategna and two brothers. James Tate Seitzinger Jr. and Gordon Seitzinger. Sisters-in-law, Lou and Jessie Seitzinger.
She is survived by her daughters, Helen Martin and Carolyn Smith of Bloomfield New Mexico and Robin Chavez of Rio Rancho New Mexico. Son-in-laws, Don Smith, LeRoy Dugger and Anthony Chavez and Daughter-in-law Lei Nani Adair. Fifteen Grandchildren, twenty-nine Great Grandchildren and one Great-Great Grandson.
Funeral Service for Helen will be on August 29, 2018 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 804 West Blanco Blvd. in Bloomfield, New Mexico. Viewing will be from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM in the Relief Society room. Funeral service following the viewing will be at 10:00 AM.
