Place of birth Allen County, Indiana.
Kathryn Ann Grover (nee DeWeese) age 83 passed away on Thursday March 1st in the care of The Good Samaritan Society Aztec, NM. She is preceded in death by her husband Russell W Grover and her parents Earl and Cecil DeWeese.
Kathryn will be remembered by those who knew her for her kind heart and beautiful smile. Kathryn married Russell W Grover in June of 1955 and moved to Farmington NM in 1957 with Nita. Her other children were born in Farmington. She was a homemaker, legal secretary, and an active member of the First United Methodist Church of Farmington and United Methodist Women. She enjoyed bible study and reading books about history, biographies and mystery fiction. She was a good cook and enjoyed watching nature shows and organizing family pictures.
She is survived by her children, Nita, Paul (wife Rhoda), Nancy and Scott, her sister Alice Naylor of Valparaiso IN and her brother Bill DeWeese of Madison IN. She was very fond of her grandchildren, Rose and Lily. She also left behind nieces, nephews and 4 great grandchildren, extended family and dear friends.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Good Samaritan Society of Aztec for the care she received while there. She requested that any donations in her honor be made to The First United Methodist Church of Farmington, now known as River Stone Church.
A memorial service will be held March 10, 2018 at 2:00 pm at River Stone Church at 808 N Monterey Ave.
