Michael Morris Luster, 71, resident of Bloomfield, NM, passed away September 27, 2018 at his home.
Michael was born January 4, 1947, in Safford, AZ, to Charles Kay Luster and Ellen Morris. He graduated in the first graduating class from Westwood High School in Mesa, AZ in 1965. He attended Mesa Community College, Arizona State University, and graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1980. After retiring as a Chiropractor he returned to school and earned a teaching degree. He taught elementary school in Mesa, AZ and Bloomfield, NM.
Michael was an avid woodworker, and loved gardening and being a grandpa.
He is preceded in death by his mother Ellen Morris Luster and first wife Geneva Green. He is survived by his wife Roanna Whipple; daughter Amy Ellsworth and husband Bradley; son Jeremy Michael and wife Kristy Bagwell; father Charles Kay Luster and wife Bertha; brothers Steven Curtis and wife Becky; David Scott and wife Margie; and granddaughters Sarah Ellen, Hannah Colleen, Bethany Aleen, Eliza Myrl, Camilla Kay, Grace Helen and Summer Nicole.
Funeral services will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints building at 902 W. Blanco Blvd., Bloomfield, NM on Wednesday, October 3, 2018, at 10:00am with a public viewing at 9:00am and family viewing at 9:30am. Burial will take place in Mesa, AZ.
