Patricia Ann Brown

August 12, 1936 – January 27, 2019

Patricia Ann Brown, 82, of Farmington returned to her heavenly Father on Sunday, January 27, 2019.  She was born on August 12, 1936, in Sikston, MO to Clem and Edith (Hines) Haskins.

Patricia graduated from Enterprise Adventist Academy, where she met her beloved husband of 54 years, Jerry L. Brown.  Together they farmed in Fall River, KS.  They moved to Denver and eventually moved to Craig, Colorado where they started a fencing company.  Patricia worked as a CNA in a hospital in Craig during this time.  They moved to Farmington in 1973, where they began operating Farmington Fence Company.  In 1980, they built Wagon Wheel Country Court, which continues today.

She loved to garden, sew, crochet, embroidery, and canning.  She had a green thumb which was evident by all of her beautiful plants both inside and out.  She was an active member for many years in the Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and numerous brothers and sisters.

She is survived by two children, Lynnette Brown, and Lonny Brown (Shaleen); three grandchildren, Shira Tackett, Kayla Hicks, and Rachel Brown; four great grandchildren, Gabriel Tackett, Gage Tackett, Grady Tackett, and Ian Hicks, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, February 1, 2019, at Brewer, Lee, & Larkin Funeral Home, 103 E. Ute in Farmington.  Funeral Services for Patricia will be at 9 a.m. on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Brewer, Lee, & Larkin Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, 1606 N. Dustin Ave. in Farmington.

Pallbearers are Lonny Brown, Tim Crawford, Bryan Sledge, Tom Stamper, Zachary Charles, and Don Williams.  Honorary pallbearers are Darrel Nace and Buster Jacquez.
