Timothy Jon Miller

Timothy Jon Miller, 77, of Farmington, NM, passed away Sunday, January 13, 2019 after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. His beloved wife and daughters were by his side upon his passing.

He was born on July 31, 1941 in Altadena, California. He was raised by his mother
Ramona Edith Jackson and Robert E. Smith. Tim was proud to be a part of the
first graduating class of Farmington High School, 1959. He served in the United
States Navy as a submariner and then attended New Mexico State University where he received a degree in business. Tim married Polly Wingate on January 1, 1964 in Farmington and they moved to California in 1970 where they raised two daughters. It is in California that Tim began his career in banking. Tim and Polly moved back to Farmington in 2001 and later retired. In his younger days Tim enjoyed boating, water skiing, and trips in his motorhome. He was eager to lend a helping hand and loved a good party where he could dance with his wife. Tim was an extremely loving and supportive husband, father and Grandfather. His family was his number one priority.
Tim is preceded in death by his baby sister Cheryl Miller, his father Robert E. Smith and mother Ramona Jackson.

Tim is survived by his loving wife Polly Miller; daughters, Cheryl (Jeff) Schmidt and Debbie Fentiman; grandchildren, Nicole, Emily, Timothy and Hannah Schmidt, Sarah and Laurie Fentiman; brothers, Robert (Karen) Smith and Raymond (Nickie) Miller.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Brewer, Lee and Larkin Funeral Home, 103 E. Ute St. in Farmington, NM 505-325-8688.
